Wish you success with your book and thanks for the blog.
I have always loved food but have for years eayen well but stuck to the same recipes etc...and then suddenly, I don't why I found my interest reawakened and I am now cooking more than ever.
I'm finding it easy, enjoyable possibly cheaper, I know what's in the dishes I cook, I am probably eating smaller portions for all that so hopefully my health is improving too.
If anything the problem is plenty of choice now and not enough time to cook and taste everything.
Hi Gildersleeve! You're right - there are so many recipes and ingredients around now, it's hard to take everything in. I tend to either be inspired by the seasons or develop an interest in a cuisine or technique I haven't tried before and play around with that for a while. (Makes sense from the point of view of using up any less common ingredients you buy too!)
Thanks for sharing. I love reading the news articles from across the pond! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too. I wouldn't have discovered Wallet Pop if it hadn't been for you!
